I am a little flower, delicate and fine
A work of art to brighten, I twinkle and I shine
I am not an antirrhinum
Nor am I columbine
I am not a sensuous Orchid
Nor a flagrant Passion Flower
I am dainty & refined, hedgerows are my Bower
I come here to delight, my sparkle is my Power
So often I look pitiful, with a tendency to hide
You say I'm nice & walk on by, leaving me aside
but I became tongue tied
I tried it to remember,
But the name I never got
Oft my heart is gold, sometimes a whitish dot
whatever shade my heart is, please Forget-Me-Not
